CPM / CPI / CPA Bidding Engine

Where Bids Meet Performance

Programmatic advertising is the automated buying and selling of digital ad impressions. When an ad opportunity becomes available, Visprisca evaluates the available signals, determines the value of that impression, and places a bid in real time. If the bid wins, the ad is served — and the resulting user actions (installs, clicks, conversions) feed back into the system to continuously improve future bidding decisions. Every bid is driven by data, learning, and performance.

Adaptive Objective Optimization

Built to Automatically Optimize Performance

Visprisca is designed and trained to make intelligent bidding decisions based on historical performance, real-time signals, and campaign objectives. Depending on the campaign goal, Visprisca uses different optimization approaches for CPM, CPI, and CPA campaigns.

Model 01 — Reach & Awareness

How CPM Works: Intelligent Bid Shading

Visprisca's CPM algorithm is built around bid shading. Instead of bidding a fixed amount, the engine calculates the appropriate bid based on historical auction and performance data — every bid is evaluated against previous data to determine the right price for the impression, helping advertisers achieve efficient media buying while maintaining performance.

Clearing price probability curves dynamically depress winning bids toward the minimum required threshold, preventing costly overbidding in first-price auctions.

Model 02 — User Acquisition

How CPI Works: Conversion-Driven App Installs

CPI (Cost Per Install) optimization is designed to drive more app installs for user-acquisition campaigns. Visprisca is trained and programmatically designed to identify impressions with a higher probability of generating an install. When an install happens, the event is sent back to Visprisca through a postback, and that conversion data continuously improves future bidding decisions.

Visprisca uses two different decision-making algorithms for UA campaigns and App-to-Web campaigns, based on the campaign objective and order-level domain configuration.

The more conversion data Visprisca receives, the better it understands which opportunities are likely to generate installs and adjusts bids accordingly.

Model 03 — Post-Install Actions

How CPA Works: Event Attribution & Value Bidding

CPA (Cost Per Action) optimization works on a similar principle to CPI, focused on a specific post-install or conversion event. Visprisca uses two optimization algorithms for CPA campaigns, built on conversion signals and user history.

CPA optimization needs sufficient event data to make reliable decisions — as more conversion events arrive, Visprisca better understands user behavior and calculates bids based on the probability and value of the desired action. Both CTA (click-through attribution) and VTA (view-through attribution) signals contribute to the optimization process.

Bidding Intelligence

Every Bid Should Have a Reason.

From bid shading in CPM to conversion-driven optimization in CPI and CPA, Visprisca uses data and campaign signals to continuously make smarter bidding decisions.

More data→Better decisions→Smarter bids→Better performance
Engineering & Attribution Notice: CPM bid shading algorithms are live in active bidder deployments. Dual CPI/CPA algorithms, MMP postback listeners, and configurable CTA/VTA attribution windows are in active development and early partner integration testing.
